The useful question is not whether a drone can be used, but whether an aerial viewpoint improves the story or the information being captured.

That might mean establishing a location, connecting several spaces, documenting a hard-to-reach area or creating movement that a ground camera cannot reproduce. The route, conditions and permissions still have to support the idea.
